- Works closely with client to determine personal style and design objectives, and discuss budget and goals
- Research and preliminary investigation of manufactuerers and suppliers
Design
- Comprehensive board design, illustrating colors, fabric samples, paint swatches, lighting fixtures, flooring, accessories and wall art room by room.
- Furniture selection proposal
- Furniture layout in AutoCAD to assure proper fit
- Coordinate with architectural details in AutoCAD -- details, finishes, material usage, millwork, casings, lighting, fixtures, doors, hardware, etc.
- Detailed cost estimating, including freight, sales tax, and mark-up
Design Implementation
- Furniture Ordering & Purchasing of design elements
- Furniture Receiving, including checking all selections to assure quality
- Coordinate storage and delivery of materials
- Schedule movers, installers and finishing crew
- Set-up and installation
